IN REMEMBRANCE OF A FALLEN COMRADE Arturo Padilla passed away this week. He fell ill while on a Greenway Project in Nairobi, Kenya, and upon returning to the states was immediately hospitalized with a lung infection from which he did not recover. Arturo has always been more than just your typical electrician. As a worker he would bend over backwards to help out with whatever needed to get done. His knowledge and skills as a journeyman electrician were something you could always fall back on and trust to be correct and true. His work ethics were of the highest value to a job. You could always count on Art to be there on time with the best attitude towards a project one could ask for. As a friend he would always point me and others in the right direction, leading us away from the dark roads traveled and back into the light of reality. He was always there with the proper advice on how to deal with life’s trials and tribulations. As a husband and father, his love was bountiful and true, overwhelming at times, yet comforting to know that it was there. Arturo was all these things and more and he will always be in my thoughts and prayers. Arturo leaves behind a grieving widow, Virginia Padilla. ( Damien Drake, Greenway Job Superintendent)
